Hatha Flow

A slow dynamic form of yoga, with asana (body postures) threaded together on the breath. Combining elements of Ashtanga and Hatha yoga, this practice builds strength and agility while having the calming effects of a moving meditation. We explore mini sequences in depth by slowing down key asana transitions, focusing on alignment. Build strength, increase flexibility, develop body awareness, experience mental clarity and relax. The practice is different every week!

Testimonies

‘I started attending Kat’s yoga classes with a little trepidation, but soon learnt to relax. Kat brings together a powerful combination of knowledge, patience and persistence, resulting in classes that extend the student, without losing the essential ‘fun factor’. I can’t recommend Kat highly enough!’

— Anita

‘Kat is a very attentive and careful teacher. She is extremely patient and gives a lot of importance to the correct execution of the poses (at all levels of difficulty). Encouraging but never pushing, giving the right time to your body and the right peace to your mind to learn and improve day by day.’

— Karina

‘Excellent teacher. Was very clear in her explanation and gave me as much help as I needed, which was quite a lot. Patient and answered all my questions. I have specific needs, which were addressed efficiently and well. A pleasure to work with and would not hesitate to recommend.’

— Jo

Further Information

It's best to eat at around 2 hours before class, yoga is best on an empty stomach! It is advised to wear comfy loose clothing that would not restrict movement. Please arrive 10min early for your first class. If you have any injuries, it is your responsibility to let the teacher know - this way you will get appropriate instructions during class and avoid discomfort or further injury. Finally, you may want to have a jumper and socks with you for the relaxation part at the end of class.
